This Privacy Policy describes how Symetry ("we", "us", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS application.

1. Information We Collect

• Face photos. When you start a scan, the photo you take or select is sent to our servers over an encrypted connection for the sole purpose of computing your facial analysis. Photos are processed automatically and are not used for any other purpose.
• Analysis results. Your scores, traits, and progress history are stored locally on your device.
• Account information. If you sign in with Apple, we receive the identifier (and, if you choose to share it, the name and email) provided by Apple Sign In.
• Purchase information. Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment details.
• Coach conversations. Messages you send to the Improvement Coach are transmitted to our servers to generate responses.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To compute and display your facial analysis and personalised recommendations.
• To provide AI coaching responses.
• To manage your subscription and unlock premium features.
• To send local reminders you have explicitly enabled (these never leave your device).

3. Data Retention

Uploaded photos are retained only as long as necessary to perform the analysis and are then deleted from our servers. Analysis results and journal entries remain on your device and are removed when you delete the app.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers required to operate the app:

• Apple — payment processing and Sign in with Apple.
• RevenueCat — subscription management (RevenueCat privacy policy).

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the GDPR in the EU and the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

6. Children's Privacy

Symetry is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Security

All communication between the app and our servers uses TLS encryption. Access to our servers is restricted and monitored.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
